 Frequently Asked Questions

  • We rent the farm for a base price of $250/hr with a 4 hour minimum.

For our wedding and farm packages, please see the links on the Event Rentals page.

  • We are 25 minutes directly south of downtown Dallas - just a few minutes off I-45.

  • We are open Monday - Saturday; closed Sundays. We are flexible on event timing but ask that any event shut down by midnight to accommodate our neighbors.

  • Yes! However, you must have a TABC-certified bartender to do the serving (This is fairly simple and usually just involves a short online course for certification). For all events involving alcohol, we ask that you make sure your guests have plans for a safe ride home.

  • We do not! We work with all vendors. It has been our experience that any Dallas-based vendor is happy to come out to the farm. We do have a list of recommended vendors we have worked with in the past if you're looking for ideas.

  • For outdoor events, we can host up to 500 people (possibly more, but we would need to discuss and price converting pastures into parking). For indoor events, the barn can seat up to 80 at long tables.

  • We have an indoor party barn that can be heated and cooled, and can be used as a shelter if it rains. We are also willing to provide refunds or rescheduling if it is pouring on the day of the event.

  • No! We provide a beautiful outdoor backdrop for weddings, showers, anniversary parties, concerts - anything from a private, catered dinner under the twinkle lights to a full-scale fundraiser with white tents and a dance floor.

However, our farm-themed events are really fun! We will put your guests on the trailer and take them on a tour of the farm, talking through sustainable agriculture and stopping for photo ops with the longhorns and chickens. They can cut flowers during flower season, play corn hole, make s'mores at the firepit, and generally enjoy getting out of the city.

  • Our festivals are when the farm is at its very best! During GladFest (May/June), more than 50,000 gladioli in all colors are blooming, and during Harvest at the Hill (October), the beds are planted with hundreds of sunflowers. These are great add-ons for your guests - you can pre-purchase flowers and allow your guests to go out into the fields with clippers and cut their own! The farm is open to the public on Saturdays, so any Saturday event during a festival needs to start after 3pm.

  • We require a 50% deposit to reserve your date, and then the remainder is due on the day of the event.
